How to install Bixby, Samsung’s New Virtual Assistant on Any Android?
Samsung is always working hard in order to beat its biggest rival, Apple. Time and again Samsung has tried to come up with something that could compete, if not beat Apple’s, Siri. With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S3, the company introduced their first every AI assistant, S-voice, but sadly the software turned out to be a big failure.
People reject S-Voice outright. They said it was a cheap copy of Apple’s Siri, and they also believed that Samsung would never be able to beat Siri. Due to such negative comments, the company never tried to incorporate another AI assistant in their phone, but they never actually gave up on the idea.
With the launch of their coming phones, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the company is also introducing its new Virtual Assistant Bixby. You can see Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, specs here. Samsung promises that this artificial assistant is going to be more than just an ordinary assistant. For instance, if you tell Bixby to call Adam, it would ask you which Adam instead of calling the first in your contact list.
At the moment, the Bixby runs with some basic apps including Uber, Youtube, but it’s just matter of time when more apps will be added to the list.
